We’ve posted boutiques. We’ve talked about buying experiences instead of things this Christmas. We’ve shared lots of resource pages this year including bakers & bakeries, photographers, Children’s Birthday part ideas. There are so many “small businesses” all around us! However, we haven’t yet dived into small business owners without a storefront. These are just a few of the small businesses in our area without a “brick and mortar” shop that sells goods or provides a service.

These moms, and in some cases, dads are chasing their dreams, doing what they love, and showing their kids what hard work looks like from their own homes. Some of these parents started small, working it as a hobby until finally it grew enough for them to step away from the 9-5 work grind. Some of them use these shops and businesses as an outlet, as a hobby. They know they will always have their 9-5 day job, but still love running their second gig too! Either way, you can support them this Christmas and find cool Christmas gifts for nearly everyone in your family right here in our own backyard.
